Late Harvest – Pinot Gris
This wine, rich in aromas, with exceptional power and finish, comes from grapes full of sugar, harvested when over-ripe, 4 to 6 weeks after the vendanges (grape harvest), sometimes under the first snowfall.
Full-bodied and exuberant, powerful and pleasing, it is the most famous wine of Alsace.
Mellow, it develops aromas of fruit, flowers or spices. It reveals a nice bouquet and fills the mouth.
It goes well with aperitifs, exotic cuisine, strong cheese and desserts.

The Gewurztraminer comes from a selection of an old Alsatian grape variety called the Traminer which was a little less powerful.
