Mellow, full-bodied and robust, it develops aromas of fruit, flowers and spices. It reveals a nice bouquet and fills the mouth.
It goes well with aperitifs, exotic dishes, strong cheese and desserts.

Homemade grape juice pasteurised and made from Alsatian grape varieties from our vineyard.
The plot from which this wine is made is located on the ruins of the Meywhir castle (10th century), hence the name of this specific area: “Im Schloss”.
This wine for laying down is made from the Pinot noir grape variety and is aged in oak barrels.
This wine comes from grapes full of sugar, harvested when over-ripe, 4 to 6 weeks after the vendanges (grape harvest), sometimes under the first snowfall.
